Such is the attachment of a male towards his car that if translated into feelings men would defend their vehicle like they would ‘defend their children’ if someone tried to damage it. However, they do stop short of sending their car a Valentine’s Day card.
I’m attached to my car because it gives me my ‘me-time’. When I’m driving alone there’s a peace and tranquillity that’s difficult to explain, but I know it’s there. My car is my retreat. However, I do only get to drive it on weekends.
