On the screen, you will first be presented with the option for us to check for theory test cancellations on your behalf. If you request a specific date and time that is unavailable at the time of your booking, ticking the ‘Yes, please check for cancellations for the date I provide,’ gives us permission to notify you of any cancellations for your preferred date.
You will then need to complete the on screen form with your personal details, including:

Step 3
Next you will asked to complete details about the type of test you want to take. 1. Use the drop down menu to select the vehicle category for which you’d like to take a theory test. The field automatically displays Car (Category B).
2. Select the language that you would like to take your theory test in. English and Welsh options are available.
3. If you suffer from a hearing impairment and require your theory test in British Sign Language (BSL), click Yes and your test will be conducted using on screen, BSL.
4. Enter your provisional driving licence number (found on line 5). It will start with a few letters from your last name.
5. Select two of your preferred theory test centres. Based on your postcode, the nearest test centre is automatically selected.
6. Select you preferred test date and time. You can choose from weekdays and Saturday, with morning and afternoon slots available.
7. Use this field to provide further details about your availability.
8. Use this field to specify any special requirements.
Once you’ve completed this section, click on CONFIRM DETAILS or NEXT at the bottom of the form.
Step 4
Confirm your theory test booking details. This is a summary of all the information that you provide. You will need to check it and make sure that all the details you’ve entered are correct. Incorrect information could result in delays to your theory test booking.
If you need to change any information, use the EDIT button below the section where amendments need to be made.
