Arriving at Weymouth Theory Test Centre

St Nicholas street car park is 2 minutes from the test center and charges a fair price. Alternatively, if you want to be almost guaranteed a space, go to the big Britannia multi storey car park. It offers 437 spaces, charges a fair price and is a 4 minute walk from the test center.

Car. If you're going to take a trip by car, there are two options available. You can park your vehicle at either Cosens Quay or Weymouth Multi Storey. Both are about 2 minutes' walk from the test centre.

Bus

The station is approximately 0.7 miles from the test centre. Walking takes about 10 minutes.

Train

Weymouth train station is located at King St, Weymouth, Dorset, DT4 7BN. The distance between the two points is about 1 mile. The test center is located in Phoenix house, directly opposite the Lakeside Superbowl.

What is the theory test pass mark?

The pass mark for the car test is 86% and you must answer at least 43 out 50 multiple-choice questions correctly to pass. You must also pass the hazard perception test and score 44 out of 75 points to pass the overall theory exam.

AFTER YOU HAVE BOOKED YOUR TEST

After you complete your booking, you'll be sent an email confirming the appointment. You should check your spam folder in case you haven't received it. This email will contain a confirmation code and your reference number. Print this email out to bring with you to the theory test centre.

ATTENDING THE THEORY TEST

You should bring along a copy of the confirmation email you received from the DVLA. This confirms your appointment time and date. Your license number is also printed on the card. Bring along a photo ID such as a passport or national identity card.

You should park your car at the Govanhill Car Park. There is a bus stop next to the Govanhill train station. Walking to the test centre isn't too far away.

You should make sure you bring your provisional license with you to your theory exam. Otherwise, you won't be allowed to take the exam.
