Driving theory tests can be taken in a car, motorcycle or lorry. The type of vehicle you take your test in depends on what vehicle category you're applying for.

You need to answer 43 out of 50 questions correctly to pass.
If you're taking your motorcycle theory test, it'll last 57 minutes and you'll be asked 50 multiple-choice questions. You also have to complete a hazard perception test as part of the motorcycle theory test.
The hazard perception test is made up of 14 video clips. Each clip has one or more hazards in it. You need to identify the hazard, using your mouse button, as soon as you see it developing.
You need to score 44 out of 75 on the multiple-choice questions and 57 out of 75 on the hazard perception test to pass.
If you're taking your lorry theory test, it'll last 100 minutes and you'll be asked 50 multiple-choice questions. You also have to complete a case study as part of the lorry theory test.
The case study is based on a real-life situation that LGV drivers might come across. You'll be given information about the scenario and then asked 5 multiple-choice questions.
You need to answer 85 out of 100 questions correctly to pass.
