How to find Canterbury Theory Test Centre
If you're driving to the theory test centre as part of a lesson or accompanied by a friend or relative, parking is available on Watling Street or Whitefriars. Parking charges do apply.
If you're travelling by train, the nearest station is Canterbury East train station, which is approximately 0.5 miles (10-minute walk) from Canterbury Theory Test Centre. On foot, proceed along Station Road East until you reach the Wincheap Roundabout. Turn right and take the 2nd exit on your right onto Pin Hill (A28).
You will come across a pathway that crosses Dane John Gardens. Proceed along this path until you reach St George's Lane. Continue along St George's Lane onto St George's Street. Bear left, then right into St George's Subway.
Proceed along the subway, emerging on Lower Bridge Street (A28). Once you emerge, turn left. Walk a little way and the centre is on your right. The closest drop off point by bus is service P2, which stops at Whitefriars on stand E1.
