When you do not need a theory test
You must pass a theory test before booking a driving test to upgrade your license. An automatic vehicle license must be upgraded to a manual vehicle license if you've held this license for two years or more. A medium motorcycle license must be upgraded to large motorcycle license if you've held a small motorcycle license for two years or longer. A medium vehicle license must be upgraded if you've held a large vehicle license for two years or less.
A minibus can tow a trailer. You don't need to take a theory exam before booking a minibus.
Arriving at Bolton Theory Test Centre
Public transport is easy to use. There are many options available. To save energy, take the shortest route possible.
You can use your sat nav to plan your route to the test centre. Tap BL1 4AY into the sat nav and then head off. If you're driving from outside of town, take the M61 to the A66 and then turn onto Spa Road. Follow the signs to Queensbrook.
Parking unfortunately, Bolton theory test centre doesn't provide on-site parking, thankfully however, there are a few reasonable priced options nearby. New holder street car park (bl1 4sn) charges £2 for two hours and is a short four minute walk to the centre. alternatively you could also use st edmund street car park (bl 1 2jr) which is eight minutes away but fifty pence cheaper charging £1.5 for two hours.

CANCELLING AND RESCHEDULING THE THEORY TEST
