The practical exam is also too lenient, any type of fault should result in a fail.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/span><\/p>\n

He added: \u00e2\u20ac\u0153We must also say the fear of worsening driving standards is at an all-time high \u00e2\u20ac\u201c however, our roads have never been safer. If people want safer roads they should look at improving their own skills and standards.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/span><\/p>\n

Professor Stephen Glaister, Director of the RAC Foundation, had this to say: \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Bad driving isn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t just annoying; it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s also the source of most accidents. Around three quarters of crashes have been because of human error. We all like to think the best of our own abilities, but perhaps we should take a good look at ourselves in the rear view mirror and realise that really none of us are perfect drivers.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/span><\/p>\n
