However, the Labour Party raised concerns about prison overcrowding. Shadow Justice Secretary, Sadiq Khan, said: \u00e2\u20ac\u0153I agree that those driving without insurance that cause a death should be duly punished. However, the Government also needs to assure the public that there is enough room in the prisons to deal with the extra demand.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/span><\/p>\n

He added: \u00e2\u20ac\u0153The current shortage of space and increased overcrowding on their watch has led to serious problems in our prisons.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/span><\/p>\n
