Those who had made an online theory test booking for 12 January or after were tested on night time driving and driving in adverse weather conditions for the first time.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, Pearson did enter negotiations to purchase Learndirect in order to retain the driving theory test contract, but negotiations have hit a snag with Pearson announcing at the end of 2015 that they had abandoned plans to buy Learndirect due to financial troubles.<\/span><\/p>\n
