In the first instance, you can appeal to the authority that issued the ticket at least twice. If that doesn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t yield the result you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re after then take your fight to the independent adjudicator. In the event that your car is clamped you can only lodge an appeal once with the authority that clamped your vehicle. If that fails, you can then appeal once to the official, independent tribunal.<\/span><\/p>\n

Compile evidence<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

In the age of the smartphone, more and more drivers are providing photographic evidence to make their case against an unfair parking notice. Make sure you take pictures of unclear signs or road markings, your car and the immediate area (this comes in handy if you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re disputing where you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re alleged to have parked) and take pictures of any parking metres and pay and display tickets if you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re disputing an expiry time.<\/span><\/p>\n

All this evidence will enhance the chances of your appeal being successful and ultimately, cut the cost of motoring.<\/span><\/p>\n
